We are proud to announce the newest update to the Admin Portal: Employee Scheduling 2021. Read on for more about the new Scheduling Module’s key features, and information on how to use it.
Overview
We have created an entirely new Scheduling Module to replace our current Scheduling module. We decided to do this as we strive to provide you with the best tools possible. Our new Scheduling Module allows you the ability to manage employees’ schedules as before as well as maintain availability, shift templates, and more. Your employees can use the Destiny Mobile platform to update their availability and review assigned schedules.
Key Features
Scheduling Dashboard
Using the new Scheduling Module, you can quickly find information at a glance. A few features:
Total Scheduled Hours (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
Total Clocked in.
Pending and Confirmed Shifts.
Destiny Mobile Integration
Officers using Destiny Mobile will be able to review, add or remove their availability. They will also be able to review schedules assigned to them as well as confirm or deny those schedules.
Timesheets
Using the Clock in/out feature in Destiny Mobile, the Scheduling Module will generate Timesheets that allow you to easily review employee time with image and GPS verification.
Customizable Settings
Using the SuperAdmin portal, the Super Admin can determine if an officer is required to confirm schedules, how long until a manager is notified after an employee misses a schedule, and how long to wait until the officer is notified they missed a schedule.
Beta Product
The new Scheduling Module is a beta feature. Rather than keep the feature in development for months, we’ve decided to release it immediately for two reasons:
We believe in creating a product as thin as possible and improving over time. This is also known as Minimal Viable Product.
We could never think of all of the ways in which this feature will be used. Only our customers can do that and we will weigh customer feedback as we evolve and improve the product.

How do I access this module?
Log in to the Admin Portal and click on Time → Dashboard in the left navigation menu. Please note you can only access it if you have the “Timeclock Entries” permission assigned by your SuperAdmin. For more information on how to change permissions, click here.
