Destiny Mobile: TimeClock Directives

We used some feedback to redesign one of Destiny’s key components: Destiny Mobile: TimeClock. Read on for more about TimeClock’s new key features, its differences from the old version and information on how to use it.

Overview

TimeClock was created to verify that an Officer is clocking in and out at the correct time. It allows Officers to clock in/out using a GPS tag as well as a photo for verification. Once the officer clocks in/out, the data is sent to our servers and immediately available for review in the Admin Portal.

What’s Changed?

The new Timeclock directives addition was designed to ensure that your officers perform specific tasks on each in/out event. Timeclock entries now have a new section where Admins can review these directives.

  1. Automatic pop up: Directives automatically pop up once the officer attempts to clock in or out.

  2. Specific Clock in/out functionality: Create new directives specific to clock in and specific to clock out.

Key Features

Clock in / out directives

The main focus of this enhancement is to require your employees to complete directives in order to clock in or out of their shift. With the previous version of TimeClock, we required employees to take a photo of themselves to verify their identify upon clocking in. Our latest changes now require that your employees complete tasks (defined by you) such as answering yes or no questions, in order to fully clock in/out.

Separate clock in / out directives

Directives can be created for either Clock in or Clock out and you are not limited to how many you can create.

Different Type of Directives include:

  1. Take a photo

  2. Scan a QR code

  3. Request a Signature

  4. A text box to input comments

  5. Record a video

  6. Answer a yes/no question.
