Dispatch: Patrol Scoreboard

We have added a new feature to the Dispatch Portal which we believe should help manage patrol visits for all accounts. Read on for more about the new Dispatch feature, how it works, and information to understand how to utilize it.

Overview

Dispatch Portal: Patrol Scoreboard was created to inform dispatchers of patrol visits they need to complete throughout the day. It allows the dispatcher the ability to review visits that need to be completed by a specific time for any selected account. The dispatcher can verify when officers need to visit an account as well as if the officers have not visited by a certain time.

Patrol Scoreboard

 

  1. Account Name: Dispatchers can identify which account has patrol visits that are needed still.

  2. Coverage Time: The patrol visits must be completed within the time range located here.

  3. Required Total Visits: Dispatchers can identify how many total visits are required within this time range.

  4. Remaining Boxes: Dispatchers can determine how many visits have been completed as well as how many remain. Color coded as yellow if there are still visits that remain and there is more than one hour left to complete them, red if there are 2 or more visits remaining and there is less than an hour remaining, and orange if there is 1 visit remaining with less than an hour remaining.

  5. Refresh Button: Dispatchers can click the refresh button to update the screen with the latest updates.

The main focus of this new feature is to allow your Dispatchers the convenience of knowing which Accounts officers need to visit throughout their shift by a specific time. Prior to this update, employees needed to be remember or keep note of which accounts they needed to visit and we understood that could be easily forgotten. With this update, your Dispatchers will always know which visits are required and how long officers have to complete them by their required times.

Warning Colors

With easy to identify Colored boxes, your dispatchers will always know which accounts, officers need to prioritize to visit by the required time. We anticipate dispatchers who use this feature will be able to identify the patrol visits before they are missed.

Missed visits automatically change color when there is an hour remaining in the coverage time.

How do I access this new feature?

Log into the Dispatch Portal and select the new Patrol Scoreboard option.

How do I set up deadlines for Patrol Visits?

To set up Deadlines, visit the Coverage Times page for the selected account details page in the Admin Portal. Select Manage → Accounts, select the desired account, and click Coverage Times from the Post Order Options menu.
