We are proud to announce a new update to the Admin Portal: Geofence. Read on for more information on how to use it.
Overview
Geofences are a key component of our software used to verify when an employee is on-scene or leaves as well as integrate with other features. We understand that some Admins may need to access this feature while using a mobile device and we recognized that it was a little difficult. With the latest update, we believe we have reached a solution for creating and managing Geofences via a desktop computer or mobile browser.
The new Geofence feature works exactly as it did before however how you create the Geofences has been updated.
Key Features
New Geofence Creation Tools
This update introduces four new buttons to make creating/editing Geofences easier.
Draw Button: Select this to enable the ability to draw the perimeter of the Geofence on the map.

Clear Drawing Button: Select this to clear the drawing from the map entirely.

Delete Geofence Button: Clear the Geofence from the map as well as return to the account details page

Save Geofence Button: Saves the Geofence drawing as well as returns to the account details page
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How do I configure a Geofence location?
You can create the new Geofence in the same location as before by selecting the Set Location and Geofence option for a selected account under Manage Accounts.
How do I use this as an officer?
There is no difference in how the feature works while using this as an employee.
