Accessing the Super Admin Portal

Overview

This article answers several commonly asked questions about the Super Admin portal.

What is the Super Admin Portal?

The Super Admin Portal holds the keys to all access. When a company obtains a subscription for Destiny's services, we provide that firm with a single set of credentials. With these credentials, admins can be created and all subsequent access to Destiny can be configured.

You will be given a username, password and a cid (company id).

What can I do in the Super Admin Portal?

The features of this particular portal are, by design, limited. Below is the list.

  • Change Password: You can change the password of the Super Admin account.

  • Increase Users: You can request that additional users be added to your existing subscription:

  • Manage Admins: This is where you’ll create admin accounts for your administrative team. Commonly, office staff and ranking officers and supervisors are granted admin accounts. You are able to create an unlimited number of admins. These admins are able to administer the system but have no ability to compose reports. Additionally, permissions can be applied for each admin to limit their control over the system.

  • Manage Mobile Features: This feature controls the report types that are available in the mobile app. If, for example, your firm doesn't write parking citations, you may find it beneficial to remove those reports types from the officer's view. Removing such distractions increases officer productivity and efficiency.

  • Admin Audit Logs: This feature allows you to review every action taken by your admins in the Admin portal. There are logs ranging from checked the home page to emulating to an Account.

Sharing Super Admin Credentials

Whoever has the Super Admin credentials has total and complete control over your Destiny subscription, its content and all data within. We urge you to create admin accounts for your trusted staff as opposed to sharing the Super Admin credentials.
