Why Does GPS Drain My Battery
Mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets use a lot of battery power and GPS just adds to this drain, why? Because GPS is constantly searching for satellites to update your position or re-route the user. Destiny Mobile uses very little power when it is running in the background. Destiny RoDan only uses power when a QR checkpoint has a directive associated with it. Destiny Stellar works much in the same way, however because Stellar locks GPS on the device will continue to search for satellites even when the user is not logged into Destiny Mobile.
