How to use LPR

The following are step by step instructions on how to use the mobile LPR feature.


  • Log into Destiny Mobile
  • Click on the "Read Plate" icon
  • In the account data field click on "Select Account" and select the account you are assigned to then click the "Back" button
  • Aim your mobile device at the vehicle license plate you want to scan. It is important to stand about 10 - 15 feet from the plate that you are about to scan
  • Click the "Scan" button and continue to hold the device toward the vehicle's license plate
  • After a few seconds 1 of 2 actions will occur
    • If the license plate is not found the system will return a "NO RECORD FOUND" message
    • If the license plate is found the system will return the vehicle's information and a "Violation Status" button will appear
  • Click on the "Violation Status" button and a page will appear with a list of parking violations that have been previously issued for that license plate

  • If you wish to create a parking violation click on "Create Violation"
