We are proud to announce the newest addition to the Admin Portal: Custom Reports. Read on for more about the Custom Report’s key features, and information on how to use it.

Overview

Destiny Software’s Custom Reports allows you to create various reports that are tailored to your exact needs. Using this feature you are able to design the report from the ground up and to your exact specification. After a report is created, your employees can use Destiny Mobile Hybrid to generate new records of those reports that can be emailed to your clients as well as saved on our servers to review any time after finalization.

Aside from creating the reports administrators can also utilize the pending report section to verify and finalize custom reports now as well.

Key Features

Customizable Reports

Using this new report, you can easily create any type of report up to your specification. A few features:

  • Add individuals and/or vehicles.

  • Multiple custom fields and textboxes.

  • Unlimited combinations up to your specification.

Hybrid Available

As soon as an admin creates the report, the report is available to the employee in Destiny Mobile Hybrid.

Pending Reports Reviewable

As with our normal collection of reports, custom reports will also be available for report review. As an admin, you can review each report by editing, returning it to employees, or submitting it to the client as a finalized report.

Beta Product

The Custom Report is a beta feature. Rather than keep the feature in development for months, we’ve decided to release it immediately for two reasons:

  • We believe in creating a product as thin as possible and improving over time. This is also known as Minimal Viable Product.

  • We could never think of all of the ways in which this feature will be used. Only our customers can do that and we will weigh customer feedback as we evolve and improve the product.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How do I access this module?

You can access this new feature as an Admin by simply selecting the new Custom Report option under the Manage option via the Admin main menu. Please note you can only access it if you have the “Custom Report” permission assigned by your SuperAdmin. For more information on how to change permissions, click here.
